The SES light is illuminated in my vehicle's instrument cluster. What should I do?

The Service Engine Soon (SES) indicator illuminates when your vehicle's computer has sensed a discrepancy with one of the systems in your vehicle. If you are not experiencing any problems driving the vehicle, schedule an appointment as soon as possible with your local Authorized Mitsubishi Dealer to have your vehicle diagnosed. If you are experiencing drivability concerns or your vehicle is not operable, you may contact Roadside Assistance to have your vehicle towed to the closest Mitsubishi Dealer. The number is 1-MITSU2009 (1-888-648-7820), Option 1/Option 2. Roadside Assistance is available 24 hours a day.

NOTE! If you have not tightened your gas cap all the way after filling up, the SES light may illuminate. Be sure to always tighten your gas cap after refueling until you hear it click three times.
